NOTE: If you have not purchased your domain name yet, we recommend Godaddy.com for domains. After purchasing your domain, come back to this page and complete the steps.
Step 2: Set your domain's nameservers
The nameservers for your domain can be set in your domain provider's control panel. The nameservers need to be set to the following:
- ns1.digitalocean.com
- ns2.digitalocean.com
- ns3.digitalocean.com
We have a specific step-by-step guide for this for Godaddy here
Step 3. Wait for us to email you.
We'll be doing the complicated/heavy-lifting in setting up your hosting account, installing WordPress, and getting your SSL certificate. It should only take a couple of hours but if we are extremely busy it can take up to 24 hours. This can also be delayed by how long the internet takes to "propogate" your DNS changes from Step 2 above. Typically that takes 24 hours to fully propogate. When all is ready, we'll send an email to you. Until then, you can relax, grab a coffee, and get your home-page's text ready for your new website! Talk to you very soon.
